Every day all over the world billions of human brains are having thoughts and some of those thoughts contain completely new ideas. In the human tradition of verbal communication, ideas need words to explain, describe and discuss them, so where there are new ideas, new words are needed.
In my ongoing effort to develop better communication, I offer this collection of syllables, all based on the phoneme “er” plus one letter, mainly as a way of showing how easy it can be to find the raw material with which to create new words. I’d have started with an “aa+” series, but I don’t like the sound and feel of the aa+ syllables as much as I like the er+ series.
NOTE: A few er+ syllables are already being used as words or word-fragments. These few are shown in bold.
